Head Start

GLEAMNS Head Start is accepting applications for the 2009 – 2010 school year.  To be eligible for Head Start, children must be 3 years old on or before September 1, 2009 .  In order for applications to be processed, we will need your child’s birth certificate and proof of your family income from the previous 12 months (Form 1040, W-2).

Applications will be accepted regardless of race, sex, creed, nationality, immigration status, or disability.

Qualifications for Substituting

NOTICE :

GLEAMNS Head Start does not provide transportation for children residing within a one and one-half mile radius of the center.*

*The Case Worker and Center Coordinator in consultation with the Transportation Director or a designee may reduce the minimum distance if the circumstances so warrant.  The circumstances that can be considered for the reduction include, but are not limited to, dangerous highway crossings, total inability of parents to provide transportation, handicap condition, etc.
